None of these accomplishments would be possible without our volunteer (i.e. nonpaid) Homeowners contributing time, expertise, and energy for all of their neighbors. It is my immense pleasure to work with such a willing, enthusiastic, dedicated, and talented team. All of these accomplishments have occurred even while a reconceived master database and a new website are in the laborious process of total overhaul and construction. Thanks to all our volunteers for a very successful year.

Welcome to the Fall-Winter 2014 Edition of your SMVE HOA Newsletter. This communication is really worth your time to learn from your Board, Committee Chairs and Directors as they present updates of the 2014 activities. These fact-filled reports serve to inform all Homeowners as to the HOA’s Financials and Budget, the Dues Increase proposed on 7/25/14 for 2015 (after 5 years without an increase), and the initial work on major renovations in the community. The major capital improvements (investments in our future) are readily apparent at the community entrances (4), both recreation areas, major landscape upgrades over all the community, comprehensive security/safety progress, architectural oversight of remodels, the successful packrat surveillance program, plus a comprehensive report on negotiations and finalizing a contract for solid waste and recycle services for the community.
