For those of you in attendance, you enjoyed diverse, fact-filled reports from eight SMVE Homeowners contributing their time and expertise to make this community better. These individuals show up, show up on time, and arrive with facts and figures to help the Board plan the future, then volunteer to lead the plan. Such a group of volunteers has become invaluable for the whole community. Please share your accolades and kudos for such selfless contributions to the well being of all of us.
In addition, for those in attendance, you observed….quite a crowd! Yes, your perceptions of a crowd are correct: 107 persons attended that Monday evening representing 52 property lots. Moreover, our secretary, Bill Page, received by 1st class return mail 34 absentee ballots. A total of 86 SMVE HOA lots were voted at the Annual HOA Meeting. It’s fair to conclude that the 10 percent quorum required by the SMVE HOA governing documents for the meeting was exceeded in a energized manner.
