Last November, President Bill Page announced that he and Joan would be moving to California to be closer to their daughter once their Tucson home sold. The time has now come and they are in the process of moving. Accordingly, Bill resigned as President and from the Board at the Board meeting on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
The Board has elected interim officers to serve until the Board organizational meeting on Wednesday, February 17. The Board elected Guy Scharf as President and Kathy Mitton as Secretary at the Tuesday, January 19th, Board meeting.
Guy was appointed to the Board in March 2015 as a Director and has since served as Board Secretary. He developed and has maintained the Sunrise Mountain View Estates HOA website to improve communication with homeowners. His term as Director expires in 2018. Kathy has assisted with the website and newsletter since the Spring of 2015 and was appointed to the Board as a Director in October. She also serves as chair of the Landscape committee. She is running for election as Director this year.
