Keep Your Post Lights On for Security

Let there be light! This phrase applies to many situations. From the HOA perspective, this means keeping our post lamps lit which helps improve safety and security.

The post lamps provide quite a bit of light to brighten up our surroundings at night. A well-lit area at night is a most effective way to prevent accidents to walkers and to deter crime. Criminals prefer to operate in the dark.

What can we do to brighten up the night? One easy step is to always keep your post lamp’s light switch in the “on” position. The lamp has a sensor, so it will automatically turn off during daylight hours. Should they burn out, bulbs are easily replaced.

Our post lamps not only brighten up the area at our particular residence but they also help to do the same for our neighbors. The result is that we are protecting one another.
