CC&R Article XIII, Section 16: Animals
No cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, poultry or other livestock shall be bred, raised or kept on the Properties, nor shall dogs; cats or other animals be kept in kennels or similar enclosures on the Properties. This restriction shall not be construed, however, as prohibiting the keeping of ordinary domestic pets as long as such pets are kept confined in the single-family residence and fenced yard. When domestic pets, which are allowed to be kept on the Properties, are taken out of an Owner’s Lot, the domestic pet(s) shall be on a leash and the Owner shall be required to pick up immediately any animal feces left on any other Owner’s Lot or on the Common Area.
Rules and Regulations
- All pets must be confined to their fenced lot.
- Pets must be leashed at all times when off their lot.
- Owners must pick up all fecal material deposited on the streets, sidewalks, any other common area, or any yard by their pet.
A fine of $10 for each occurrence and $25 for each repeat occurrence may be assessed.
Pets Not Allowed in Pool Areas
Any homeowner who either takes pets or permits pets into a pool area will be liable for a fine of $500 for violating this rule plus any required repair or cleanup costs. If the pets are taken or permitted into the pool area by any homeowner’s guests or tenants, that homeowner shall be responsible for the fine of $500 for violating this rule plus any required cleanup costs.
