Eagle eyed homeowners (The Sanfords) have noticed that numerous native plants in yards are in obvious distress due to lack of moisture this summer. The HOA common areas are affected as well. Until the monsoons arrive you should consider ratcheting up water if you have irrigation and/or providing water (soak with a hose) if you don’t. Even native cactus and trees which typically don’t need extra water are suffering and need help. Without some water soon, it is likely you will lose some plants this summer season. Help them out and provide a little water to tide them over until the rains arrive.
