Beginning Spring 2019, a 15-month construction project will widen Kolb Road – from Sunrise Drive to Sabino Canyon Road – into a 3-lane road. The center lane will be for left turns in either direction. The draft design plan calls for paved shoulders for bicycling and a sidewalk.
A public open house to review the plans is scheduled for December 12 from 6:30-7:30 pm at Ventana Vista Elementary School, 6085 N. Kolb Road. For more information, visit Pima County Roads Project.
